1/2 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tsp vinegar)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
For Breading:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornflour
1/2 tsp salt & pepper
1/2 tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
For Chicken Frying:
Oil for deep frying or shallow frying
For Assembly:
Burger buns
Mayo, ketchup, or spicy burger sauce
Lettuce
Tomato slices
Onion rings
Cheese slices (optional)

1. Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix buttermilk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken fillets and marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).
2. Prepare the Coating:
In another bowl, mix all the breading ingredients. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture, pressing well to coat evenly.
